Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) president Chatur Bahadur Chand and secretary Ashok Nath Pyakurel have tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Chand and Pyakurel, who participated in the CAN board meeting held in Chitwan, Bharatpur last week, have been confirmed to have infected by Coronavirus.
Both have been in self-isolation since the infection was confirmed. Their condition is normal.
CAN had organized a board meeting in Bharatpur on October 22 amid the Corona pandemic. The meeting had made public the schedule of the tournament from the central agreement of the players.
After the president and secretary Coronavirus report came positive, most of the members participating in the Chitwan meeting have been in isolation and most of them have undergone Coronavirus test. Many reports are yet to come.
During the test, CAN vice-president Rajubabu Shrestha and treasurer Roshan Kumar Singh received negative reports. CAN has also requested all participants in the meeting to undergo Coronavirus testing.
