According to a report received on Thursday evening, Another member of the National Football Team has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Nepal has started training for the friendly match against Bangladesh from Thursday. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) had invited 34 players for preliminary training.
According to ANFA, four people were initially infected with Coronavirus. The report received on Thursday evening, another player has also been infected. They haven’t revealed the name the players.
In addition, five people called in for the training of the National Football Team have contracted from Coronavirus.
ANFA had requested all the players to be present in Kathmandu by Wednesday. After coming to Kathmandu, ANFA had tested the Coronavirus of the player.
ANFA has kept the infected player in isolation.
With domestic football stalled due to the Corona pandemic, ANFA has started preparations for a friendly match to keep the players moving. Due to Coronavirus pandemic, the players could not return to the field from last April.
Accepting Bangladesh’s offer, ANFA has started training the players. Nepal is playing two friendly matches in Bangladesh on November 12 and November 15.
