Belguim thrashed Iceland by 5-1

Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi scored twice as the hosts eased to a victory over Iceland and a 12th win in a row in the UEFA Nations League.

Axel Witsel promptly levelled and Michy Batshuayi made it 2-1 to hosts Belgium, who spurned further first-half chances to extend the lead.

After the first half, Dries Mertens extend the lead in 50th minute. Batshuavi added another with a lovely backheel finish past the Iceland goalkeeper in 69th minute and another by Jeremy Doku in 79th minute to give them the lead by 5-1.

Belgium lead the League A Group 2 standings with a maximum haul of six points from two games, followed by England on four, Denmark with one and Iceland none.
